We have been in a bit of a rut lately as far as meals go so this week I am trying a few new recipes! We also had a week when Brian's dad visited that we ate out every night so my menu plan for that week went out the window.
Sunday Night: We had Filet Mignon (great special at our local grocery store), I marinated for 24 hours and seared 3 minutes on each side then finished cooking in the oven. BTW my grill is broke! Hubby ordered the part needed but do you know how I hate that! I cook out all the time!
We had corn on the cob and Caesar salads with them. Yummy!
Monday Night: We had leftovers, basically because the steak was so good and we had plenty left and had leftover burgers from Sunday afternoon, AND Bri was gone that night, so leftovers were an easy choice!
Tuesday Night: We had GYROS! I love gyros but have never attempted them at home, I got some lamb on special this week as well and found a wonderful recipe. The seasonings were perfect and the KIDS all loved it! We had the gyro meat in pitas with tzatziki sauce and tomatoes and onions. On the side a Greek Salad with feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and kalamata olives! This was amazing, ask if you want the recipes. Brian told the kids to say OPA! after they ate the first bite! They loved it!
Wednesday Night: We are having ham and cheese toasted sammies and tuna fish bagels, you may choose LOL...with fruit!
Thursday Night: I am trying a friend's recipe for Asian Turkey Meatballs. I will serve over rice. OH and some potstickers!
Friday Night: Pizza Pasta and Pesto Bread
Saturday Night: C.O.R.N.

We have been guilty of eating out too much lately! We need to get back to meal planning and cooking like I always normally do!
